You should as well, for the following reasons: It’s a Tumblr blog that actually writes fully-developed thoughts an ideas It is an astounding achievement that the Union of Concerned Scientists was able to produce blog-style content in the first place It covers topics that are very much in the news, such as the new START treaty and President Obama’s new Nuclear Posture Announcement Nuclear stuff, while potentially the end of humanity as we know it, is cool I helped create the layout and set up the custom URL

Are you effing kidding me? Engadget picked this up without any discussion whatsover of the technical problems posed by the design?  Effing A, man—The Daily What can blow tech stories all it wants. Tumblr’s full of people who don’t know any better. But the second biggest tech blog in the universe? That’s a pretty serious fumble.  Hopefully someone on Gizmodo is writing a post to effing shred or at least question this BS. I don’t expect anyone at Geekologie to come through, but I might yet be surprised.
