Seriously. Ke$ha? 2Pac? I’m sick of searching for songs I know I have and finding jack-all. Ideally, it would also correct for changing artist names (Puff Daddy/P-Diddy, Tupac/Makavelli, etc) but that would require some stuff outside of some smart character replacement rules.

Maybe you missed this one. It officially dropped on the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to 2008’s Confessions of a Shopaholic, though portions were featured on an episode of Ugly Betty before the OST came out.
Given the prevailing economic attitude at the time of release, CoaS, adapted from an eponymous chick-lit novel of free spending, was a bit of a flop; at any rate, this track wasn’t really promoted.
The song was initially written by Gaga and middling hit-maker RedOne for Heidi Montag, and—not surprisingly—was ready chum for ravenous music critics. Somehow, though, through theatrics, production, and talent, Lady Gaga manages to work some deeper levels into what is otherwise very flat material.
It’s catchy but nothing spectacular—though I am a tremendous fan of Lady Gaga mumbling in foreign languages over her own doubled voice.
